SmCo Disc Magnets
At A TO Z Magnets, we provide a rare earth type magnet, also known as samarium cobalt (SmCo). SmCo provides substitute of neodymium magnets and produces more stability output for which it requires much higher temperature range.
These magnets have built in such a way that can endure temperature as low as -273 degrees C up to higher temperature of +350 degrees C.
Neodymium magnets always produce strong fields at room temperature where as SmCo outperform at temperatures as high as +150 Degrees C.
SmCo Disc Magnets have better temperature coefficient than Neodymium, which produces magnetic outputs that are varies less over a change in temperature. This is why these magnets are ideal choice for temperature sensitive applications such as Sensors and loud speakers where steadiness of the field is vital during operation.
These magnets are also equipped with good inherent coactivity, which allows it to be use in applications demagnetization forces, which might be present during the starting of a motor.
With its very less amount of free irons, structuring it to specify its meaning and produces outstanding corrosion in water. These magnets work on all dimensions with standard manufacturing tolerance of +/- 0.1 mm.
